If I'd set out to design an ordinary cat scratcher, it would probably look like a lot of the models already on the market.
I wanted to create something completely different.
My goal was to design a place that would let a cat climb, play, watch the world, rest and meet its natural needs, every single day.
That's how PRASKA's own, trademarked Maze Tower collection came about.
It's not just a scratcher. It's a space designed around a cat's nature.
Every PRASKA Maze Tower combines several functions at once: a scratcher, a play area, a maze, a hideout, a lookout point, a resting spot.
A cat can climb between levels, rest in a hammock, watch the home from above, or hide away inside the tower.
That's exactly why so many cats use it throughout the day, for a whole range of natural activities.
Cats love discovering new passages. Peering into every nook. Squeezing between levels.
That's why I designed a safe maze inside the tower with large openings. They're sized to suit large breeds like Maine Coons too.
That's a deliberate choice. A cat's safety always comes first for me.
The ramp isn't there just for scratching.
It's also a comfortable way into the tower. Felt on both sides encourages cats to climb, stretch and sharpen their claws in a natural position. And it gives excellent grip for everyday use.
I put a ball toy in the lower module.
It's a simple feature that builds motor coordination and encourages a cat to play on its own. For a lot of cats, it becomes their favourite part of the whole structure.
When designing the tower, I paid huge attention to stability.
A cat should be able to jump up, climb and rest freely, without worrying that the structure will wobble or make unsettling noises.
It's exactly that stability that makes a cat feel confident and keep coming back to its spot.

Every new model goes to my own cattery first. It's then tested by pedigree cat breeders over many weeks.
We watch how cats use each level, which spots they choose most often, and what else could be improved. Only once every adjustment has been made does the product go on sale.
Because at PRASKA, I don't design products purely to look good. I design them so a cat wants to use them every day.
I didn't want to create another scratcher.

Yes. The structure was designed with large breeds like Maine Coons in mind too. The size of the openings and the stability of the whole structure make it comfortable and safe to use.
