PRASKA products for breeders are built for working with several cats at once - litters, queens before whelping, kittens in the socialisation period, and shows. This is a dedicated line, developed from more than 14 years observing pedigree cats in a cattery - not scaled-up versions of standard furniture: kittening boxes, kitten playpens, starter kits for new owners, and show accessories.
Kittening boxes - how to choose
PRASKA kittening boxes split into plywood and fabric versions, depending on the stage the queen is at. The plywood line comes in three styles - QUEEN, MADAME and PRINCESS - each available as a BASIC version (plywood only) and a PREMIUM version (plywood, fabric and faux fur); the three differ in style and finish, not in level. QUEEN is the largest of the three. The BABY BORN line is fabric-based - BABY BORN PLUS, BABY BORN ROYAL, and the 2-in-1 ARENA BABY BORN, which combines a kittening box with a playground for older kittens. The Kittening Box & Feeding Station adds a separate feeding zone, kept apart from the queen and litter's resting area.
Kitten playpens
PRASKA playpens come in two heights - 55 cm and 75 cm. The lower one suits the youngest kittens, who are only just learning to move around; the taller one works once a litter starts jumping and exploring beyond the bed.
Starter kits for new owners
A PRASKA starter kit is a set a breeder can send home with a new owner alongside a kitten - a throw (the BABY throw, or the PUFFY starter-kit version with a cover) and a bag for the new owner (CAVA, LUNA, OREA, VELA). It's a gesture that stays with a kitten's new home longer than the transaction itself.

The SHOW TOP cover is a show cage cover that shields a cat during transport and while on display at a show. The category also includes protective accessories and the ARENA sensory playground, which works well where several cats share one room.
How do I choose a kittening box for a queen before whelping?
It depends on the stage and your budget. The plywood line (QUEEN, MADAME, PRINCESS) comes in a BASIC version (plywood only) and a PREMIUM version (with fabric and faux fur) - QUEEN, MADAME and PRINCESS differ in style, not in level, so that choice comes down to taste. The fabric-based BABY BORN line is a lighter, more portable option.
Which playpen should I choose for kittens?
The 55 cm playpen suits the youngest kittens, who are only just crawling. The 75 cm playpen works once a litter starts jumping and exploring beyond the bed.
What is a starter kit for a new owner?
