Self-Adhesive Replacement Felt
Replacement scratching felt is a self-adhesive pad you change yourself, without replacing the whole piece. This category holds the felt on its own, cut to fit one product.
Each piece has the shape and the size of one platform, shelf, post or panel, so it is chosen by the name of the model. Most pieces are made after your order comes in, in our workshop in Czechowice-Dziedzice, southern Poland.

What this category holds
Felt and nothing else. Each group is cut for a different part of a piece of furniture. Model names come from trees and plants.
- Felt for posts and leaves - for PIEŃ (trunk) 120 cm, PIEŃ 96 cm and LIŚĆ (leaf) 100 cm, plus separate pads of 120 × 32 cm and 96 × 22 cm for the large and the small post.
- Felt for wall shelves - 20 × 23 cm for the STEP shelf, 30 × 20 cm for STEP OVAL, 75 × 35 cm for OVALSLEEP, and replacement pads of 40 × 20 cm, 50 × 25 cm, 60 × 35 cm and 70 × 35 cm.
- Felt for tree platforms and steps - 35 × 23 cm for the OLIWKA (olive) platform, the OLIWKA branch and the OLIWKA step, for the steps of STOKROTKA (daisy) DUO and STOKROTKA TRIO, and petals for STOKROTKA SOLO, DUO and TRIO.

Sizes and how to choose
The size of the felt matches the surface you stick it to. The smallest pad here is 20 × 23 cm, the largest 120 × 32 cm.
The product name carries the model name, so choosing comes down to checking what the piece you already own is called. If you are not sure, write to us before you order.
How replacing works
The felt is self-adhesive and no tools are needed.
- Peel the worn felt off, taking care not to damage the surface underneath.
- Clean that surface and let it dry. Adhesive residue comes off with water and a mild detergent.
- Stick the new felt on, pressing it down evenly across the whole area.
The structure stays on the wall. Only the pad changes.
Felt as a scratching surface
The scratching surface on PRASKA furniture is felt, not sisal rope. It is a hard-wearing material, close to industrial felt, and it stands up to heavy scratching and daily use.
Clean the felt gently, without soaking it. It wears faster than the plywood, and that is exactly why it is a replaceable part.
Sewn felt for ramps
This category also holds the double-sided felt for ramps at the moment: for the HOME model, for the large ramp on the HOME BIS model, and for the S, M and L ramps on the towers. Those are not self-adhesive. They are doubled and sewn on both sides, and they have a category of their own, which currently lists only one of them.
How do I replace self-adhesive felt?
Peel the worn pad off, taking care of the surface underneath. Clean and dry that surface, and if adhesive is left on it, wash it off with water and a mild detergent. Stick the new felt on and press it down evenly. No tools are needed.
How do I choose the right size of felt for my scratching post?
By the model name. Each pad is cut to the shape of one part, so 35 × 23 cm for the OLIWKA platform is not the same as 35 × 23 cm for a STOKROTKA step. The model name sits in the product name. If you do not know it, write to us before you order.
Will the felt fit another maker's scratching post?
The shapes are matched to PRASKA furniture. Pads cut in the shape of a petal, a leaf or the platform of a particular tree will not fit a structure from another brand. For the rectangular pads of 40 × 20 cm, 50 × 25 cm, 60 × 35 cm and 70 × 35 cm only the measurement matters, so compare it with the surface of your own shelf.
Which felt fits a kittening box?
The QUEEN box takes a self-adhesive pad of 70 × 11 cm. The PRINCESS and MADAME boxes take a separate piece. Replacing it works the same way as on a scratching post: peel the worn pad off and stick the new one on.
What is the difference between self-adhesive and sewn felt?
How it is fitted. Self-adhesive felt is flat and you stick it to a surface. Ramp felt is double-sided, doubled and sewn on both sides, so it is not glued down. PRASKA furniture uses both forms, depending on the part.
