When designing this model, we took the needs of large cats into account.
Each platform can withstand a load of up to 40 kg, making the entire scratching post suitable for breeds such as Maine Coons and Ragdolls.

Yes. Many PRASKA products are designed specifically with large cat breeds in mind, including the Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest Cat, Siberian, and British Shorthair. Our platforms, shelves, towers, and beds have larger surfaces, sturdy construction, and durable materials. This lets a large cat rest, turn, stretch, and use the piece comfortably without feeling cramped.

How do I choose the right product for a large cat?

Most PRASKA products are designed with large cats in mind, such as the Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest Cat, or Siberian. All our plywood furniture, shelves, platforms, trees, and towers are sturdy and built for everyday use by large cats. When choosing a product, the main things to consider are your cat's weight and size. A cat weighing up to 10 kg will be comfortable on any PRASKA tree, shelf, or platform. For beds, dens, and textile products, we recommend the larger variants. For cats over 6 kg, models with a diameter of 50 cm or more work best. Smaller sizes, such as 40 cm or 45 cm, may be too snug for large breeds. Our product descriptions always include dimensions and the recommended use for each model. Yes. We make many products individually to order. Depending on the model, you can choose the colour, fabric, size, or additional elements. We don't work from mass-produced warehouse stock. Every product is made according to the configuration you choose.

Are PRASKA products suitable for multiple cats?

Yes. Our designs are built to serve more than one cat, especially the larger platforms, towers, trees, and wall systems. If you have several cats, it's worth choosing an extended set with different resting levels. Cats naturally like having their own lookout spots, so several platforms work better than a single one.

Our founder has run a pedigree cat breeding programme for many years, so every product is designed around daily observation of cat behaviour and the real needs of breeders. These aren't designs created solely by a furniture designer or manufacturer. They took shape over years, drawing on experience with raising kittens, caring for breeding queens, and organising space for cats of different breeds and ages. That's why the PRASKA range includes not only trees and beds, but also kittening boxes, dens, mats, and solutions built for breeding catteries. Many of these solutions exist because they were missing from the market, or didn't meet the day-to-day needs of working with cats. Yes. Our products reach customers all over the world, both in Europe and further afield.
