The basic version of the QUEEN kittening box provides a safe space for the mother and her kittens, and every breeder can equip it further to suit their own needs: with beds, a lamp or a plexi insert.

Product description

  • 1. A handy shelf for accessories
  • With the flap open, the shelf is a convenient place to keep the scales, a diary, hygiene products and other essentials.

2. Easy access to the mother and kittens

The upper front part of the product opens.

Once turned over, it can be laid on the closed top lid, which gives easy access to the mother and her kittens during kittening and while caring for the litter.

This part of the module can also be detached completely, for even more convenient access during the birth.

3. Opening lower module

When closed, it protects the little ones together with their mother.

When open, the lower module lets the kittens set off on their first explorations and discover the world outside.

4. Safe footing and first scratching

The felt stuck onto the module lets the kittens move around safely.

It also encourages scratching, serving as the kittens' first scratcher.

The self-adhesive felt is easy to peel off and replace with new felt once it is worn.

  • On the back wall of the product there is a small opening for connecting an electric heat pad or other devices.

  • Our kittening boxes have plenty of places where you can hang the kittens' favourite toys.

Assembly and disassembly time

Thanks to the unique modular system, the product can be put together and taken apart in a very short time: all you need is your hands.

Forget about screws, nails or unnecessary hinges.

Do not worry about the size. Once taken apart, it takes up very little space.

Hygiene

The modular design guarantees easy access to every nook and cranny, and every surface is easy to wipe clean.

The product is intended for raising kittens and should be kept properly clean.

Every module of the structure can be washed with warm water and wiped dry.

For wood care we use products available on the market,

but never liquids containing chlorine.

About the plywood

Every module is made of top-quality hardwood plywood and hand-sanded for a precise fit.

The modules are hand-painted three times, which makes the product easy to keep clean.

The plywood is highly durable and resistant to crushing, compression and bending.

It is light, functional and does not let heat through.

Natural fine scratches, knots and varying shades may appear on the plywood, which adds to its unique character.

Every one of our products is made with the utmost care in Poland.

    Yes. Many PRASKA products are designed specifically with large cat breeds in mind, including the Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest Cat, Siberian, and British Shorthair. Our platforms, shelves, towers, and beds have larger surfaces, sturdy construction, and durable materials. This lets a large cat rest, turn, stretch, and use the piece comfortably without feeling cramped.

    How do I choose the right product for a large cat?

    Most PRASKA products are designed with large cats in mind, such as the Maine Coon, Ragdoll, Norwegian Forest Cat, or Siberian. All our plywood furniture, shelves, platforms, trees, and towers are sturdy and built for everyday use by large cats. When choosing a product, the main things to consider are your cat's weight and size. A cat weighing up to 10 kg will be comfortable on any PRASKA tree, shelf, or platform. For beds, dens, and textile products, we recommend the larger variants. For cats over 6 kg, models with a diameter of 50 cm or more work best. Smaller sizes, such as 40 cm or 45 cm, may be too snug for large breeds. Our product descriptions always include dimensions and the recommended use for each model.
