Cat house – which one to choose and which cats like it the most?
My experience shows that a cat house is most often chosen by heat-loving, sensitive cats, and those that like to rest away from excess stimulation.
For them, it is a place where they can unwind, rest, and have a moment just for themselves.
Houses are also perfect for mother cats raising kittens. A quiet, sheltered space gives them a sense of security and allows them to peacefully care for their litter.
Size really matters
From the beginning, I knew that one size would not be suitable for all cats.
That is why we design PRASKA houses in several sizes – from models intended for cats weighing around 2.5 kg, up to large cat caves for cats weighing up to 10 kg.
Our offer also includes models with a larger diameter, which are perfect for large breeds, such as the Maine Coon, as well as for a mother cat with kittens.
Every design is created with the thought that the cat should be able to lie down comfortably, freely change its position, and rest exactly the way it likes.
Hygiene is of utmost importance
As a breeder, I know how important it is to keep the bed clean.
That is why most of our houses feature a removable cushion. On a daily basis, it is enough to wash the cushion itself, without having to wash the entire house.
This solution is more convenient, faster, and much more practical.
Materials are chosen by... cats
Before any material makes it into our collection, it undergoes extensive testing.
We check not only its appearance but above all its durability, ease of cleaning, and behavior during everyday use. We also observe the reactions of cats of different breeds.
Only then does the material go into production.
Therefore, I can say with full conviction that our fabrics have been tested by hundreds of cats living in many countries around the world.
Comfort begins with quality
From the beginning, I wanted to create a house that would primarily be comfortable for the cat.
That is why we choose fabrics that have the appropriate certificates, are odorless, and are pleasant in everyday use.
The construction is equally important. Our houses retain their shape, do not collapse, and do not deform during use. Even after many washes, they still look aesthetically pleasing.
These are products designed with long-term use in mind.
Why do we offer personalization?
Because we know that a cat's home is also part of its caregiver's home.
That is why you can choose the fabric color that best suits your interior. Thanks to this, the house becomes not only the cat's favorite resting place but also a natural element of the home decor.
Designed from experience
For over 14 years, I have been breeding pedigreed cats.
Every new model is created thanks to the observation of their daily behaviors. It is the cats that show me what shape, what entrance height, what cushion softness, and what amount of space make them truly want to return to their house.
Because a good cat house should not appeal primarily to a human. It should be a place that the cat itself will choose.
PRASKA houses are created from observing which places cats choose themselves – not from what looks best in a photo.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which cat house to choose?
The house should be tailored primarily to the cat's size and character. Heat-loving, calm, and more sensitive cats most often eagerly choose enclosed beds.
Will a cat house work well for a Maine Coon?
Yes, provided that its size is properly adjusted. Large breeds need more space to freely position their bodies and change positions while resting.
Can the cushion from the house be washed separately?
Yes. Most PRASKA houses have a removable cushion that can be washed without having to wash the entire bed.
Will the house be suitable for a mother cat with kittens?
Yes. Larger models work very well as a peaceful place for a mother cat raising a litter.
