Cat Trees
Freestanding cat trees are self-supporting structures in hardwood plywood with a felt scratching surface, combining a scratching post, a play area, and a resting place in one piece of furniture - from compact models to full towers with platforms, dens, and hammocks. A construction with no visible screws, customized with your choice of plywood color and fabric, means a PRASKA cat tree fits into a modern interior instead of looking like something from a pet store. Every piece is handmade in Poland, with materials chosen individually and platforms that hold up to 66 lbs (30 kg) each.

Which cat trees and scratching posts does PRASKA make?
The category splits into two groups at different scales:
- Multi-level towers with a Ramp (HOME, HOME BIS, ELF, CHEESE, PIXIE, HAROLD, EDWARD) - several platforms connected by a ramp, available in sizes S, M, and L depending on the model. The largest models include a den, lookout points at different heights, and a scratching zone.
- Compact freestanding scratching posts (KOKARDKA, KOKARDKA SAD, BABYSITTER) - a smaller, standalone piece with no multi-level structure, a good first scratching post or a fit for a smaller space.
Customization and accessories
You customize every tower and scratching post at order stage, and most parts can be equipped or refreshed separately later on:
- Bed sets matched to a specific model (EDWARD, HAROLD, CHEESE, PIXIE, ELF, HOME) - replaceable fabric, choice of color.
- Terrace bed an extra resting platform on an outer level of the tower, available for the HOME PIXIE and HOME BIS models.
- Hammock add one to a scratching post you already own from the HOME series, as an extra resting spot.
- Replaceable felt separate sizes for the S, M, and L Ramp and for the modular panels, so you only replace the worn surface, not the whole tower.
How to choose a tower size
The Ramp size (S, M, L) and the number of platforms grow with the scale of the model - from the compact HOME to the full EDWARD with several levels. The more cats you have at home, or the more room you want to give one cat to change position through the day, the more a larger model makes sense. For a first scratching post or a smaller space, KOKARDKA or BABYSITTER is enough without a multi-level structure.
What is the Ramp on PRASKA scratching posts?
It's the incline connecting the tower's levels, available in sizes S, M, and L depending on the model. It's covered in replaceable felt on both sides, so it works as a scratching surface and a route between platforms at the same time.
Does a freestanding scratching post need to be fixed to the wall?
No - it's a freestanding structure. You place it wherever you like and can move it around without drilling into a wall.
Can I replace just the bed, without buying a new scratching post?
Yes. Bed sets for each model (EDWARD, HAROLD, CHEESE, PIXIE, ELF, HOME) are sold separately, so you can refresh the tower's look without replacing the whole structure.
Which model should I choose for my first freestanding scratching post?
KOKARDKA or BABYSITTER is a good start - a compact piece with no multi-level structure. If you want a tower with several platforms right away, HOME is the smallest model in that line.
What happens when the felt on the Ramp wears out?
You buy a replacement two-sided felt in the size that matches your S, M, or L Ramp. You fit it without taking the whole tower apart.
