We paint the plywood withhigh-quality NJORD paints, which don't create a thick, opaque layer. This allowsthe natural wood grain to always remain visible. This is a deliberate choice; we focus on the authenticity and nobility of the material, not the effect of a perfectly uniform, "plastic" surface.
In practice, this means that:
- the wood structure, natural grain and delicate scratches are visible,
- in light colors, darker parts of the wood may show through,
- each plywood has a unique pattern and shade.
