We designed this wall-mounted scratching board to give large cats, such as the Maine Coon and the Ragdoll, a stable and comfortable place to scratch.

A cat naturally needs places where it can stretch out and take care of its claws. At 47.2 in (120 cm) high, the scratching board lets it stretch its whole body, and that matters a great deal for its comfort.

The form, inspired by a natural tree trunk, means the piece fits naturally into the room: practical, and good to look at.

Specially milled grooves in the plywood give it a natural look, inspired by the texture of a tree trunk.

Replacing the felt: a simple, practical solution

The felt used on the scratching board is a hard-wearing material, similar to industrial felt, so it stands up to intensive scratching and everyday use.

It is firmly fixed to the plywood surface, so it stays stable even after long use by your cat.

At the same time, we designed the piece so that the scratching surface can be refreshed easily when needed. Worn felt is easy to remove and replace with new, without replacing the whole product.

This keeps the scratching board looking good and working well for years.

How do I choose the right product variant for a large cat?

Most PRASKA products are designed with large cats in mind, such as Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, or Siberian Cats. All of our plywood furniture, shelves, platforms, cat trees, and towers are stable and adapted for everyday use by large cats. When choosing a product, you should primarily consider your cat's weight and size. A cat weighing up to 10 kg will feel comfortable on all PRASKA cat trees, shelves, and platforms. For beds, cat houses, and textile products, we recommend choosing larger variants. For cats weighing over 6 kg, it is best to choose models with a diameter of 50 cm or more. Smaller sizes, such as 40 cm or 45 cm, may prove too tight for large breeds. In our product descriptions, we always provide information about the dimensions and the recommended use for each model.
