Made from hardwood plywood with non-slip felt, mounted in the corner between the wall and the ceiling. Handmade in Poland, designed from more than 14 years of observing pedigree cats in a cattery. Ceiling shelves make use of space a person doesn't use - they don't take up floor space, or wall space at eye level.

The ceiling is the highest point in a room. A cat with access to a ceiling shelf controls the whole space from above - they can see everyone in the household, other animals, and any movement in the room, while staying out of reach. In a multi-cat household, the highest point is usually claimed by the cat with the highest status in the group. A ceiling shelf gives them that spot without needing to climb onto a closet or bookcase, which aren't built for it.

The CIRCLE ceiling shelf is a round plywood platform, mounted on the ceiling. Available in 2 sizes: CIRCLE L and CIRCLE XL. The XL model is also available with a nest bed, which creates a resting spot right at the top of the route. A CLOVER bed, nest, or hammock can be ordered separately for any CIRCLE shelf.

SKY PARK is a ready-made set that combines ceiling shelves with wall pieces - platforms, steps, and walkways, forming a route from the floor to the ceiling. SKY PARK is the smaller configuration, and SKY PARK 2 is a bigger layout with more pieces. Both sets can be extended with additional bridges, branches, and wall scratchers.

What does a route from the floor to the ceiling look like?

A ceiling shelf is the destination - the top of the route. The path up runs through wall shelves, steps, and walkways, mounted at different heights. A cat should have a comfortable way onto the route from a piece of furniture (a couch, a dresser, a standing scratching post), and at least 2 ways back down - a ceiling shelf shouldn't be a dead end.

Yes. PRASKA shelves are designed with a margin on weight capacity and tested in Maine Coon catteries. Once properly installed in the wall-ceiling corner, the structure is stable even with everyday use by cats weighing 18-22 lbs.

SKY PARK is a ready-made route from the wall to the ceiling, with the spacing already worked out - to install without designing the route yourself. A single CIRCLE shelf is the top of a route you build yourself from wall pieces. If you don't have any wall shelves yet, SKY PARK is the simpler starting point.

How do I mount a ceiling shelf?

The CIRCLE shelf mounts across 2 surfaces: the wall and the ceiling. It needs wall anchors matched to your wall and ceiling type (concrete, brick, drywall). Every shelf comes with a full set of fixings. Once properly installed, the structure doesn't shake or flex when a cat jumps.

Can I extend a SKY PARK set with more pieces?

Yes. The PRASKA system is modular. You can add further CIRCLE shelves, bridges and hammocks, branches, steps, and walkways to a SKY PARK set. Mounting holes let you extend the route in any direction.

Can I choose the plywood color?

Yes. PRASKA ceiling shelves are available in several plywood colors to choose from at order stage. Beds, nests, and hammocks for CIRCLE shelves have a separate fabric color choice.

What's the minimum ceiling height for mounting ceiling shelves?

A standard ceiling height (about 8-9 ft) is enough. A route needs room for at least 3-4 pieces between the floor and the ceiling, so a cat has a comfortable way up and down.
