How a wall shelf set works for your cat
A PRASKA wall set isn't a collection of separate shelves - it's a layout designed around how a cat naturally moves through a space. An entrance, a passage, a vantage point, somewhere to scratch, and a bed. Every piece has its own function, and the spacing and mounting height come from observing how cats actually behave, not from aesthetics alone.
Materials and construction
Sets are made by hand in our workshop in Czechowice-Dziedzice, from natural birch plywood and felt. Every shelf holds up to 110 lbs (50 kg), so sets work well for large cats too - Maine Coon, Ragdoll, and other big breeds. Wood and fabric age with character, so natural marks or variation in the plywood's grain are part of the product's personality, not a flaw.
Customization
Most sets are only made once you place your order. You choose the plywood color, the fabric for beds and hammocks, and the layout to suit your wall. You can expand the configuration over time, adding another shelf, branch, or bridge to a set you already own.
Installation
Every set comes with wall anchors matched to your wall type. The modular build makes both installation and access to individual pieces easier, if you ever want to expand.
How do I choose a set for my cat's size?
PRASKA's standard sets are designed with cats of every size in mind. Every shelf holds up to 110 lbs (50 kg). For large breeds like Maine Coon or Ragdoll, pay attention to the depth of the platforms and the height of the beds - those decide comfort, not the weight capacity alone.
Can a set be expanded after purchase?
Yes. The modular build lets you add further shelves, branches, or bridges to a set you've already installed, so your cat's space can grow along with your needs.
What kind of wall can a set be mounted on?
Sets are mounted using the included wall anchors, matched to your wall type: concrete, brick, drywall, or wood. For drywall, we recommend extra reinforcement at the mounting point.
Does every set look exactly like the photo?
Not quite. Some pieces are cut by hand as we go, and you choose the plywood and fabric color, so your configuration will have its own character, even if the shelf layout stays the same.
