Queening Box Accessories
Queening box accessories: waterproof mats, plexiglass inserts, upper and lower beds, sets and an LED light. Equipment that can be washed, wiped clean and disinfected.
Every part is matched to one PRASKA queening box: LADY, MADAME, PRINCESS, QUEEN, ARENA, ARENA XXL and BABY BORN at 27.6 in (70 cm) across. The mats, beds and inserts are made in our workshop in Czechowice-Dziedzice, southern Poland.

Hygiene comes first here
Breeders buy in this category for one reason above the others: how easily it cleans. In a cattery, every layer that touches the queen and her litter lifts out on its own.
The waterproof mat is double-sided. One side is soft fur, the other a waterproof fabric that protects the base of the box from damp and soiling. Both layers are quilted.
The plexiglass insert is transparent, easy to wipe clean and can be disinfected. It protects the base of the box. Do not use a stiff brush on it, as that scratches the surface.
Sizes and care
- Waterproof mat for LADY, MADAME and PRINCESS - 26.4 × 19.7 in (67 × 50 cm), 0.6 in (1.5 cm) thick, 100% polyester.
- Plexiglass insert for QUEEN - 28.3 × 19.7 × 2 in (72 × 50 × 5 cm), transparent.
- Mats for QUEEN, ARENA and ARENA XXL, and for the BABY BORN cave at 27.6 in (70 cm) across - in sizes matched to each model, with the BABY BORN version also available with terrace protection.
Mats are machine washable at 104 °F (40 °C), spin up to 1000 rpm. Do not tumble dry, do not iron. They dry quickly. Fabric beds wash at 86 °F (30 °C), spin up to 800 rpm.
Upper and lower beds
LADY, MADAME and PRINCESS each take an upper bed. QUEEN takes an upper bed and a lower bed in fur. Each is available on its own.
There are also sets: one for MADAME, LADY and PRINCESS, and one for QUEEN. For the BABY BORN cave at 27.6 in (70 cm) across there is a separate START insert. You choose the fabric or the fur.
Light inside the box
The LED light is a separate module. It slides into openings prepared for it, and the power lead connects on the outside. There are no cables inside the box at all.
The light dims from very low up to bright, with a standby setting. You can pull the module out at any time. It fits every PRASKA queening box. The lamp body is hardwood plywood, coated twice with a clear lacquer. Supplied with the dimmable light module and a power supply with cable.
Sensory toys for kittens
This category also holds MEDUZA AQUA, RYBKA AQUA in a pack of two, KOTEK, and the AQUA DELUXE XXL sensory mat. It is worth checking toys regularly and replacing them once they wear.
Which box does each mat fit?
The mats are cut to the model. The 26.4 × 19.7 in (67 × 50 cm) mat fits LADY, MADAME and PRINCESS. Separate mats are made for QUEEN, for ARENA, for ARENA XXL and for the BABY BORN cave at 27.6 in (70 cm) across. The BABY BORN version is also available with terrace protection.
Can the plexiglass insert be disinfected?
Yes. It is transparent, easy to wipe clean, can be disinfected, and it protects the base of the box. The one limit is stiff brushes, which leave scratches on plexiglass.
What temperature do the mats and beds wash at?
The waterproof mat washes at 104 °F (40 °C), spin up to 1000 rpm, no tumble drying and no ironing. Fabric beds wash at 86 °F (30 °C), spin up to 800 rpm.
Can I add the LED light to a box I already own?
Yes, if it is a PRASKA box. The light fits every model we make. It slides into the openings prepared for it, the lead runs outside, and the module can be taken out and used separately.
Can I buy a bed on its own, without the box?
Yes, and that is what this category is for. The upper bed, the lower bed, the bed set, the mat and the insert are all sold separately, so a worn part is replaced without buying a new box.
