A fixed shape that doesn't change under your cat
Stable nests (the AURA, ORBIT, NEST, ORCHARD, FOREST, GARDEN, and AQUA models) are filled with silicone fiber - they hold a fixed shape that doesn't change under a cat's weight. The raised edge gives a headrest and a gentle sense of shelter from the sides, while keeping the bed open - a cat gets in and out freely, without needing to squeeze through a narrow opening.
It's the most commonly chosen bed shape in the PRASKA range - it works well for cats who like a stable, predictable bed and don't need an enclosed space to feel secure.
Sizes fitted to different cats
Stable nests are available in sizes from 19.7×13.8 in (50×35 cm) to 29.5×13.8 in (75×35 cm), so you can choose a bed sized for your cat - from a young kitten to a large adult breed.
Nest vs. pouf - what's the difference?
Stable nests hold a fixed shape - a cat lies on a surface that doesn't change under their weight. That's a different mechanism to the anti-stress poufs, where a ball filling settles under a cat and forms a body-shaped hollow. A well-designed cat space can include both types - a cat will choose whichever suits them at the time.
Which cats does a stable nest suit?
Cats who like a predictable, stable bed and don't need an enclosed space to feel secure. The edge gives a headrest, but the bed stays open and easy to get into.
What sizes are stable nests available in?
From 19.7×13.8 in (50×35 cm) to 29.5×13.8 in (75×35 cm) - you can choose a size to match your cat.
What's the difference between the AURA, ORBIT, NEST, and ORCHARD models?
The models differ in style and finishing detail, on the same stable structure with a raised edge. The choice mainly comes down to taste, and matching the color to the rest of your interior.
Can a stable nest be washed?
Yes. The silicone fiberfill can be washed following the instructions included with the product, and keeps its properties afterward.
Can I choose the color of the nest?
Yes. Stable nests are available in several color collections to choose from at order stage.
