Personalization: painting

We paint the plywood with high-quality paints that do not form a thick, opaque layer. This way the natural wood grain always stays visible. It is a deliberate choice: we value the authenticity and character of the material over a perfectly uniform, “plastic” surface.

In practice this means that:

• the wood texture, natural grain and fine scratches may be visible,

• darker areas of the wood may show through light colors,

• each piece of plywood has a unique pattern and shade.

Plywood care

Wash the structure with warm water and wipe dry.
You can use standard wood care products.
Do not use: products containing chlorine or other harsh detergents.

Bed care

Machine wash at up to 86°F (30°C).
Spin at up to 800 rpm.

Yes. Many PRASKA products are designed specifically with large cat breeds in mind, such as Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, Siberian Cats, and British Shorthairs. Our platforms, shelves, towers, and beds feature suitably larger surface areas, stable constructions, and durable materials. This ensures that a large cat can comfortably rest, turn around, stretch, and use the furniture without feeling restricted.

How do I choose the right product variant for a large cat?

Most PRASKA products are designed with large cats in mind, such as Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Norwegian Forest Cats, or Siberian Cats. All of our plywood furniture, shelves, platforms, cat trees, and towers are stable and adapted for everyday use by large cats. When choosing a product, you should primarily consider your cat's weight and size. A cat weighing up to 10 kg will feel comfortable on all PRASKA cat trees, shelves, and platforms. For beds, cat houses, and textile products, we recommend choosing larger variants. For cats weighing over 6 kg, it is best to choose models with a diameter of 50 cm or more. Smaller sizes, such as 40 cm or 45 cm, may prove too tight for large breeds. In our product descriptions, we always provide information about the dimensions and the recommended use for each model.
