Which trees these fit
Platform sizes differ from model to model, so accessories are chosen by the name of the tree. This category holds parts for:
- OLIWKA (olive), KLON Z DZIUPLĄ (maple with a hollow), WIERZBA (willow), BRZOZA (birch), DĄB (oak), DĄB 2 and LESZCZYNA (hazel) - the seven subsections of this category.
- STOKROTKA SOLO, STOKROTKA DUO and STOKROTKA TRIO (daisy) - beds, nests, cushions and felt in the sizes of that family.
- GAŁĄŹ branches and shelves - beds of 29.5 × 13.8 in (75 × 35 cm), 19.7 × 13.8 in (50 × 35 cm) and 13.8 × 13.8 in (35 × 35 cm) also fit the branches and the OVALREST and OVALSLEEP shelves.
Beds and nests
A bed is a flat, soft insert that sits on a platform. A nest has raised sides and a replaceable cushion inside.
The sizes follow the platforms: 13.8 × 13.8 in (35 × 35 cm), 17.7 × 11 in (45 × 28 cm), 19.7 × 13.8 in (50 × 35 cm), 19.7 × 19.7 in (50 × 50 cm), 23.6 × 12.6 in (60 × 32 cm), 29.5 × 13.8 in (75 × 35 cm) and 29.5 × 19.7 in (75 × 50 cm).
There are no metal hooks. Each bed has sewn-in ties of non-fraying fabric on both sides, which you thread through the openings in the platform. The fabric resists abrasion and pilling, the filling is a thick silicone wadding made specially for PRASKA, and the composition is 100% polyester.
Sets for one tree
Instead of picking sizes one by one, you can take a set assigned to a model. The set for DĄB holds two beds of 29.5 × 19.7 in (75 × 50 cm), one of 19.7 × 19.7 in (50 × 50 cm), one of 19.7 × 13.8 in (50 × 35 cm), one of 13.8 × 13.8 in (35 × 35 cm) and a hammock of 49.6 × 15.4 in (126 × 39 cm).
Sets also exist for DĄB 2, WIERZBA, KLON, BRZOZA, LESZCZYNA, OLIWKA and STOKROTKA TRIO. You choose the fabric for the whole set, so the tree keeps one color.
Self-adhesive felt
Felt is the scratching surface on platforms and steps. It wears down, which is why it is replaceable.
Felt for platforms measures 13.8 × 9.1 in (35 × 23 cm). Peel the worn piece off, stick the new one on. The felt is a hard-wearing material, close to industrial felt, and it stands up to heavy scratching and daily use.
Separate felt pieces are cut for the OLIWKA platform, the OLIWKA branch, the STEP step, and for the steps and petals of STOKROTKA SOLO, DUO and TRIO.
Hammocks and replaceable cushions
A hammock hangs from the side cut-outs of a platform. GNIAZDKO HAMAK is matched to WIERZBA and KLON, HAMAK PRZYSTAŃ to WIERZBA and KLON, and separate hammocks to DĄB and DĄB 2.
A replaceable cushion is the insert for a nest on its own. You take one when the nest itself is fine and only the inside needs refreshing. This category holds the cushion for the OLIWKA nest, 23.6 × 12.6 in (60 × 32 cm), with a choice of fur.
Toys and decoration
The hanging toys carry the names of the same plants as the trees: Kwiat Magnolia, Kwiat Platan, Kwiat Wierzba, Owoc Dąb, Owoc Klon, Owoc Leszczyna, Gałązka Oliwka. Outside that pattern sit Ptaszek, LETNIA GAŁĄZKA and KWIAT PUDROWY ŻÓŁTY.
The hanging leaves measure 6.3 × 4.7 in (16 × 12 cm), with a silicone wadding middle layer and 100% polyester composition. LIŚĆ KLASYCZNY, LIŚĆ KLON and LIŚĆ DĄB come in a choice of color.
The sensory toys here are MOTYLEK, KOTEK, MEDUZA AQUA and RYBKA AQUA in a pack of two. It is worth checking toys regularly and replacing them once they wear.
How do I choose the right bed size for my tree?
Measure the platform. A bed of 29.5 × 13.8 in (75 × 35 cm) fits branches E and F, the OVALSLEEP shelf and every tree platform of that size. The OLIWKA platforms are 13.8 × 9.1 in (35 × 23 cm), 17.7 × 11 in (45 × 28 cm) and 23.6 × 12.6 in (60 × 32 cm). If you are not sure, send us a message before you order.
What temperature do the beds wash at?
Up to 86 °F (30 °C), spin up to 800 rpm. Do not tumble dry, do not iron. The beds fit into a household machine easily and dry quickly.
How do I replace the felt on a platform?
The felt is self-adhesive. Peel the worn piece off and stick the new one in the same place, no tools needed. Each piece is cut to the shape of a specific platform, so check the model name of your tree before you order.
What is the difference between a bed and a replaceable cushion?
A bed is the whole element, tied to the platform. A replaceable cushion is only the insert for a nest. You take one when the nest itself is still in good condition.
Will these accessories fit another maker's cat tree?
The dimensions and the fixing method are matched to PRASKA models. Beds tie through the openings in our platforms, and the felt is cut to the shape of a specific platform, so they will not usually fit a structure from another brand.
